What are the grounds for divorce in Kentucky?
The only grounds for a divorce in Kentucky is the “irretrievable breakdown” of the marriage relationship. There is no need to prove that the other spouse did something wrong such as commit adultery, abandon the residence, or engage in cruel or abusive behavior. As a practical matter, there is no way to oppose a divorce if one spouse requests that the Court dissolve the marriage.
If you are ready to move forward with that process, we ask you to consider using our services.
